Geothermal drilling in motion: Enedril’s engagement on the ground

At Enedril, we believe in the potential of geothermal energy as a sustainable and local energy solution. For several years, we’ve been putting our expertise to work for the geothermal sector, especially in deep geothermal drilling, which captures the natural energy stored beneath the earth’s surface.

Active presence at key industry events

During the first half of 2025, we took part in several major geothermal events:

• In February, we were exhibitors at GeoTHERM in Offenburg, one of Europe’s key trade fairs for geothermal professionals. It was a great opportunity to present our services and connect with partners, engineering firms, and project developers.

• In June, we participated in GeoRin, a technical meeting focused on deep geothermal energy, and in the AFPG Geothermal Days. We were proud to be both exhibitors and sponsors of this national event, reinforcing our support for the sector and showcasing our experience in the field.

  
  
  
  

Expertise in directional and deep drilling

Enedril specializes in directional drilling and deep geothermal drilling, providing precise and efficient solutions tailored to complex projects. We use advanced steering and tracking technologies (including MWD systems, deviation tools, and trajectory planning software) to ensure accuracy, safety, and performance.

Our strength lies in our skilled and experienced team, capable of handling demanding drilling operations across France. From site managers and drillers to MWD technicians and engineers, our staff is trained to meet the technical challenges of the field and adapt to evolving technologies.

We carry out drilling operations up to 3000 meters deep, meeting strict standards for quality, timelines, and safety, while maintaining a strong focus on data reliability and environmental care.

Supporting a local and sustainable energy

Geothermal energy is renewable, widely available, and still underutilized. By participating in these key events, we aimed to share our field experience and highlight the existing technical know-how in France to drive the geothermal sector forward.
