DIRECTIONAL DRILLING

Enedril delivers high-end directional drilling solutions designed for complex well architectures and tight positional tolerances. Our offering includes a full range of PDMs from 3-1/8" to 9-5/8", complemented by Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS) integrating both push-the-bit and point-the-bit technologies, ensuring continuous trajectory control and superior wellbore quality.
RSS systems enable permanent steering corrections while maintaining full string rotation, resulting in smoother well profiles, reduced tortuosity, and optimized torque & drag conditions . This translates directly into improved weight transfer, higher ROP, and enhanced reach in extended reach or horizontal wells.
Our directional package includes high-temperature MWD systems (up to 200°C), delivering accurate real-time measurements (inclination, azimuth, toolface) through advanced tri-axial sensors and robust telemetry systems . Data transmission is supported by mud pulse or electromagnetic telemetry, with simultaneous downhole memory recording for high-resolution post-run analysis .
Engineering capabilities cover the full well lifecycle:
-
Well planning & trajectory design (build/hold/drop optimization, target uncertainty management)
-
Torque & drag modelling, including friction factors, buckling limits, and WOB transfer analysis
-
Hydraulic simulations to ensure efficient hole cleaning and ECD control
-
Anti-collision analysis, critical for multi-well pad and congested environments
-
BHA design optimization, balancing stiffness, contact points, and directional response
Operational performance is reinforced by continuous monitoring of downhole parameters (vibrations, annular pressure, drilling dynamics), enabling early detection of dysfunctions and proactive optimization. High-frequency data recorders further enhance diagnostic capabilities, particularly for vibration management and drilling efficiency.
With a strong focus on precision, reliability, and drilling performance, Enedril supports demanding operations including ERD, HP/HT wells, and complex sidetracks, delivering consistent trajectory control and minimized non-productive time.
